Guided consultation
Start with what you know.
You'll never be asked for technical answers you don't have. We explain the options, give you our recommendation, and write down whatever you decide.
SofLi is managed offshore development. A dedicated SofLi consultant scopes your project properly, matches you with a development partner we know personally, and represents you until it ships. You'll never have to manage an agency on your own.
Managed, not matched.
A marketplace hands you a list and wishes you luck. We stay in the room the whole way through.
Vetted, not anonymous.
We've sat in our partners' offices and met their teams. We never use freelancers or outsource to unvetted developers.
Scoped, not guessed.
We plan your project end to end so you get quoted accurately, and we do our absolute best to cut out the hidden costs that come with software development.
A fresh idea, a prototype, a codebase, a vibe coded build, or a live product already in front of users. Tell us where things stand and we'll ask the right questions from there -- no separate form to choose between first.
When requirements are vague, developers price the risk into the quote. Anything the estimate misses comes back later as rework, and you're the one paying for it.
Reducing that uncertainty, and keeping everyone well informed, is how we save you money and make sure you get what you pay for.

The usual way
Managing the agency relationship lands on you.
With SofLi
Your representative handles all of that for you.
The usual way
Scope creep shows up later as change orders.
With SofLi
Assumptions and exclusions get settled up front.
Traditional agencies price in the risk of a vague brief, then bill you again when the rework shows up. We scope the project first, match you with a vetted partner who prices against real requirements, and cut out the overhead a big agency bakes into a quote before a line of code is written.
The same clarity that keeps the cost down also keeps things moving. No lengthy search for the right team, no change orders stalling the build, and a dedicated SofLi representative keeping the project on track from scope to delivery.

Tell us about your projectEstimates are illustrative, based on typical scope for this project type. Your actual quote depends on your specific requirements and is provided by your matched development partner.
Once your development partner sends a fixed-price quote, you can apply for financing through our partner LendFlow. One application goes to their full lender network, so the build can start as soon as the quote is in, not whenever the budget finally clears.
Quoted first, funded second
You are financing a fixed-price quote, not an open-ended retainer that keeps growing.
One application, many lenders
A single form goes to LendFlow's lending partners, so you compare real offers instead of chasing them one by one.
A fast, low-commitment first look
LendFlow's initial check is a soft pull, so seeing your options does not affect your credit. Funding can land in as little as 24 hours after approval.

Before you ever get on a call, a SofLi consultant reviews the project details you submit. That same person leads the conversation next, covering your business, your users, what you've already got, how the product makes money, and what it has to work around — never a fixed script, just the questions that actually apply to you.
We read it before we call you.
A SofLi consultant reviews the project details you submit before any call gets booked, so the conversation starts from what you've already told us, not from a blank page.
Not sure? Just say so.
You don't need to be technical. Your consultant talks you through industry best practices and gives you a recommendation on the questions you'd normally have to be a developer to answer.
We help you decide. Partners do the pricing.
We won't quote you or promise a number, because that's the development partner's call. What we will do is make sure you understand the choice in front of you before you make it.
It all ends up written down.
Whatever you land on goes into the scope in plain English, ready for you to read over and approve before anyone starts building.
How the consultation runs
You submit the details
A short form, on your own time -- what you're building, and where things stand today.
A SofLi consultant reviews it
Before any call is booked, a real person reads through what you sent.
You talk it through together
A live conversation with that same consultant, working from what you already told us.
You approve the scope
Everything lands in plain English. Nothing moves forward until you sign off.
Project scope
Client portal and payment workspace
Project summary
Feature level scope
Technical requirements
Assumptions
Risks
Exclusions
The consultation ends with a document a development partner can quote from without guessing. You read it, you approve it, and it becomes the thing everyone gets held to.
A quote against a locked scope is a price. A quote against a vague brief is a guess with padding in it.

Offshore development is affordable because the talent pool is enormous. It goes wrong when you're left managing a team you've never met, in a timezone where you're asleep, against a brief nobody ever nailed down. That's the part we take off your hands.
Not a marketplace. Not a directory. Not a handoff. One relationship, start to finish.

You only ever deal with the middle. We translate both ways, so nothing gets lost between what you meant and what gets built.
Guided consultation
Start with what you know.
You'll never be asked for technical answers you don't have. We explain the options, give you our recommendation, and write down whatever you decide.
A dedicated representative
One contact, not a queue.
Approve your plan, request a quote, and you get a SofLi representative assigned to you. Same person, right through to delivery.
Personally vetted partners
Agencies we've actually visited.
Every partner has had us in their office and sat down with us in person. No freelancers, no unvetted developers, no quiet subcontracting behind your back.
A locked scope first
No quote against a guess.
Summary, feature scope, technical requirements, assumptions, risks and exclusions. All agreed before anyone puts a number on it.
Most of what we build replaces a spreadsheet, a manual process, or a tool that almost fits. Our partners cover a wide spread of specialties, so if your project isn't on this list, ask anyway.

A short form on your own time. Tell us what you're building, what you've already got, and where things stand.
Before anyone gets on a call, a SofLi consultant reads through what you sent and gets up to speed.
A real conversation with the person who reviewed your details -- not a script, and not a chatbot.
You read the written scope in plain English, settle anything still open, and change what needs changing.
Once you approve the scope, a vetted development partner prices the work against exactly what you signed off on.
Your dedicated SofLi representative runs communication with the partner and holds them to the scope, right through to launch.
Still not sure? Request a consultation and we'll tell you what we'd need to know.
Yes, and that's how the price works. The difference is you're not the one managing an offshore team. We know every partner personally, we hold the relationship, and your representative sits between you and the build.
A vetted development partner. A real agency or dev shop we work with directly, never a freelancer off a marketplace and never quietly subcontracted out. SofLi stays on as your representative for the whole build.
A real SofLi consultant, every time. They're supported by internal tools that help them ask the right questions and keep your details straight, but the person you talk to is a person -- never an anonymous chatbot.
Yes, and it's one of the two main reasons people come to us. We'll work out what you've got, tell you straight what's worth keeping, and scope the rest from there.
That depends on the scope, which is exactly why we scope it first. Pricing comes from the development partner, and they quote against the plan you've already approved, so there are no surprises hiding in it.
There's no separate consultation bill. Sofli's fee is included in your project quote, and we also earn a commission from the development partner. That means you and the partner share the cost of having Sofli scope and manage the work.
Once you approve the scope, your matched partner needs real time to price it properly. Straightforward projects are typically quoted within a few business days; more complex projects can take up to ten business days. We'll keep things moving and keep you updated while the partner prepares your quote.
You do. The code and intellectual property created for your project are 100% yours. Sofli and our partner agencies won't hold your work hostage or use ownership as leverage. No gimmicks.
We hold your payment in escrow and release it to the development partner at each milestone. If the partnership isn't working out, we'll step in and, when needed, help match you with another partner to finish the approved scope.
